Antique markets & flea markets
Lovers of unique finds and unusual objects can visit the many antique markets and flea markets in the Loire Valley. From small-scale village sales to larger markets, you can search for unique items and authentic souvenirs. In addition, almost every village or town organizes its own annual flea market or antiques market, a perfect opportunity to snag local treasures.
What makes an antique or flea market extra special is that it's often much more than just a market. In many villages, it's a true folk festival, where you'll find not only trinkets and antiques, but also enjoy local specialties and cozy eateries. Food trucks or stalls often feature grilled sausages, cheese, crêpes, or a good glass of wine. Additional activities are also regularly organized, such as live music, street performers, or children's entertainment.
